Cattle Gates from Te Slaa Mfg are built to withstand the rigors of day-to-day farm use. Built entirely with square tubing (available in 1 1/4", 1 1/2", and 2" sizes), they are stronger than other styles of gates. Our gates are available in lengths ranging from 4 ft to 20 ft, with standard 6 bar gates measuring 50" high. Custom gates are also available upon request. Common custom requests include 7 bar gates (measuring 60") and sheet metal skins.
A variety of latch options are available when ordering our gates, including slam locks, bullet locks, and slide latches. You can see these options listed below. The style of latch used is usually dependent on the placement of the gate, and it's intended purpose. Inquire when ordering about which latch best suits your situation.
Regardless of the latch, Chain Ties are often necessary to keep livestock contained. Whether it is because of a failed latch, or a latch that didn't quite click, it is always a good idea to have a backup. Our chain ties are simple but heavy duty, allowing for quick tie around a post.
Heavy duty gates need heavy duty hinges, and ours are up to the task. Again, there are multiple options available to suit your different needs - whether you are hanging gates from the side of a building, wooden post, or metal pole.
